Publishing and unpublishing to a sales channel used to be an all-or-nothing decision at the product level. Now you can control visibility for each variant on its own, so you can keep a product live while hiding a single size, color, or bundle option from a specific channel.
In the field picker you’ll find a new group called “Variant Sales Channel Publishing”, with one entry per sales channel labeled like “Online Store (Variant Publishing)”. Pick a channel and set the variant to Published or Unpublished, or schedule a publish date for later, exactly the way you already do for product-level publishing. Only true sales channels appear here, so market and catalog publications won’t clutter the list.
This works wherever you already make changes. You can adjust a single variant, apply the same change in bulk across many products, or set the values through a spreadsheet upload.
Your edit history stays easy to read too, with clear entries such as “Publish variant on Online Store” and “Unpublish variant on Online Store” so you can always tell what changed and where.
